Renting a car, jeep or mini-moke is a great way to get around Barbados. All car rental companies will deliver your car directly to your hotel or guest house and provide the documentation needed to drive anywhere in Barbados.
If you are planning on renting a vehicle a visitors registration certificate must be obtained to drive in Barbados. Cost is $10. Barbados dollars. All visitors must be over 25 and hold a valid drivers license from their native country to obtain a registration certificate. Most Barbados car rental companies will issue the registration certificate for you. Just remember that we drive on the "left side" of the road!
