Magnet Man - One Talented Bajan!

Singer/songwriter/musician/producer/actor Described in the Caribbean press as "One talented Bajan", and in the European press as "The Principal Music Ambassador of Barbados" Magnet Man has been proving both quotes to be true. His style and songs are a unique fusion of Reggae/Dancehall/Ragga Soca/ R n B and even a little Caribbean rock.

Born in the Silver Hill area of Barbados, he started his musical career very young. As a young teenager he joined the acapella group Guy Soul and had a hit with "You in My Heart" and won a NIFCA award with the song "Friends Forever". He then joined the band FX who had a hit with the ragga soca song "The Gals Dem" which they performed in New York.

Magnet Man is also an accomplished actor, he landed a lead acting role in a new film "From Barbados with Love" and wrote, produced and sang the film sound track. The movie is an Australian production , shot entirely on location in Barbados, and it is due for a 2006 release. Magnet Man will be flying to Sydney, Australia to sing at the film's world premiere. The song ,"From Barbados With Love" and music video, which includes footage from the film, is due out soon.

Magnet Man has just won the award for the "Best New Video" at the Barbados Music Awards ceremony on January 8th 2006, in Barbados.
